Big Easy Inspired Atlanta Engagement
These two are as cute as can be but don’t take our word for it, check out their lovely session from for the Love of Juneau Photography below! So sweet!
This photo shoot was nothing short of a miracle. Atlanta had a particularly rainy summer and this day was no different. We had originally chosen a different location, but it was raining ALL day and we almost called it quits. Suddenly, the skies cleared up, and we drove quickly the closest place I knew for photos. We took as many photos as we could before the rain started it up again! The moisture made for some beautiful sunlit photos.
Melissa and Robert are such a special couple. From the second you meet them, you can just feel the love…and not the sort of puppy love that might slip away…but the type that reflects partnership, caring for one another, and respect. Robert, a former college football player, volunteers to blow dry Melissa’s long hair for her when it’s cold out. Melissa always makes sure that Robert gets the baby when there is a king cake. That might not seem like a common occurrence, but for this New Orleans native, it’s a mildly regular affair.
The wedding will took place in the St. Louis Cathedral in the heart of New Orleans, and Melissa wanted the engagement session to reflect the style of the city. Ruins adorn the beautiful Whittier Mill Park in West Atlanta, which the couple liked because it mirrored the brick of New Orleans. They also brought a few props to enhance the feeling of the Big Easy.
