Charming Rustic Wisconsin Wedding

By  |  0 Comments

Authentic beauty. That’s what this gorgeous wedding from Ueda Photography is all about. We love the rustic details, the stunning natural backdrops, and the ultra sweet couple doesn’t hurt either!

Rachel and Andrew were a laid back and easy couple to work with. I loved our first meeting we talked about lots of things, even about photography!  The wedding venue was gorgeous.  It had a rustic, artistic feeling all over and was surrounded by nature.  It was a beautiful day, sunny but not too hot.  There were many great opportunities for candid shots because of all the natural light and the unique spaces in the venue, which was partitioned into several different areas.

The Wedding Pros:

Wedding Photography: Ueda Photography  |  Dress: Zita Bridal Salon |  Music: The Beat Chefs |  Venue: Hilltop  |  Hair: Lavender Hair  |  Catering: Enos Farms

From the Beautiful Bride:

Our love story is pretty simple and classic. Boy and girl meet, they find out they like a lot of the same things, they enjoy spending time together, and one day they realize they don’t want to go a day without talking to or seeing the other person.

We are both artists and love the outdoors so finding a wedding venue that match up with those aspects of our life was important. We wanted something unique, casual, and authentically beautiful and found all of those things in the Hilltop, a place inspired by Frank Lloyd Write architecture, with a bit of history, breathtaking outdoor space, and managed by a wonderful family. We knew the Hilltop was where we would be married from the first time we walked through the grounds. And because Andy is in Food Science having local, fresh food from a caterer and farmer down the road was a great bonus!

We also loved having a live band because they bring such good energy. The “Beat Chefs” are so unique in how they loop and create their own version of so many styles of music that everyone had a wonderful time watching and dancing the night away.

Advice for couples currently planning:

It sounds cliché but really don’t sweat the small stuff.  You are the only one who knows if anything is missing.   But, don’t be afraid to ask for a little help if you did forget something you really need.
