Classic & Elegant New Jersey Wedding
We’re swooning over this stunning affair from Carla Ten Eyck Photography! Love love LOVE!
Can I just tell you how much I enjoyed photographing this wedding? There are so many reasons, I could go on forever but I won’t. Nichole and Joe originally hired Eric and Amber of Raw Photo Design to photograph their wedding. Due to a sudden tragedy earlier this summer with the loss of our friend Eric, we set up a dream team of sorts to cover this wedding for Nichole and Joe.
I was lucky enough to have Anthony Decarlo, Amber Langlois, and Nicole Taylor alongside me to tag team this outstanding wedding. Because we got so many great images, we decided to break this blog up into 2 separate posts. This is the first installment featuring images from my cameras along with some of Amber and Nicole’s. The second installment will feature Anthony’s point of view on the day and will be posted on the Raw Photo Design blog. Nichole and Joe, we had such a blast with you. You guys are the definition of love and your wedding was off the hook! Here are just a few of my favorites from your wedding day. We wish you a lifetime of amazing moments and memories together. Cheers!

From the Beautiful Bride:
As childhood sweethearts, it was important for us to go back to the country setting in which we fell in love at 12 years old. We chose Crossed Keys Inn which is the picture perfect country setting, consisting of a huge, white billowy tent, a fire pit overlooking a valley, and acres of 18th century charm with farm houses, cottages, wild flower gardens, corn fields, and romance at every turn. We worked incredibly hard to ensure our personality and person touches were on every single aspect of the wedding. There were personalized welcome bags, a humorous church program, a “faux- first look” to allow us a few special moments before the wedding without losing the surprise of seeing me walking down the aisle, 100 days of love notes, personally designed invitations by the bride, the deacon officiating the ceremony knew the bride since she was a newborn, pictures of us throughout the years were spotted around each part of the wedding, an international beer bar highlighted the two years of traveling we did with each other, personalized signs for the bride’s grandfather by the fire pit and special dance with him after dessert since he was like a second father growing up. There was not an aspect of our day that did not go untouched. We were lucky to work with such amazing vendors and lucky to have each other. Joe told me when we were 13 years old that I would be the girl he married. Through many years of separation, we found our way back to each other and he kept his word. It was a truly magical day!!
