Magical Winter Engagement

Looking at this engagement session, it’s almost hard to believe that this charming couple and their talented photographer, Barbara, of Barbara Rahal Photography, braved below zero temperatures! Perhaps it’s the warm and toasty feeling you get from the fire, the hot apple cider, and the loving embraces.

This was a very short but fun session, it lasted 25 min, we were -25! A and T were brave enough to follow my crazy idea of going to visit the Luminaria exhibition, this happens once a year for a week end, and well we decided it may be a fun place to visit and shoot the session, we didn’t count with being so cold!
Thousands of candles light the paths of the Kurimoto Japanese Garden in a breathtaking display – a quiet oasis of peace and light. In addition to a stroll through the candle-lit pathways, visitors can sip hot apple cider beside the bonfires, enjoy the seasonal sounds of strolling a capella singers and catch a glimpse of the magical “snow sprites” and glittering ice sculptures.
